Lions Earn 6-5 Win Against Aurora
Fans of the Paris Lions who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Paris win over the visiting Iceland Aurora, 6-5, in 12 innings. Stephen Anderson started for the home team against Hirose Inouye. Paul Morin earned accolades for his performance. Will Brouwer, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 0.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Paris catcher Miguel Figueroa, facing Matt Roberts, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Lions the 6-5 win.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Figueroa.
