Anglers Rally Late to Nip Monsters
Eric Chambers was a vital contributor to the 7-6 Providence victory over Mobile. The Anglers designated hitter hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Justin Corey, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. With the victory, the Anglers upped their record to 14-13.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Providence trailing 6-5, Chambers jumped on a splitter from fan favorite Kyle Cunningham and hit a 2-run home run to right. With one swing, the Anglers had a walk-off win.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Chambers.
