Aurora Drop Monsters, 6-3
The Iceland Aurora beat the Mobile Monsters, 6-3, at Mobile Park. Iceland left fielder Josh McCrery, who is tied for 8th in the TOBA in total bases with 50, collected 4 singles and 1 double with 1 run batted in. With the win, Iceland pushed its record to 15-13.

It could have been a different outcome for Iceland, had it not been for Bill Purkis, the 27-year old third baseman . Purkis contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 14th inning to put Iceland up, 4-3.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Purkis.
