3-1 Win for Lisbon Over Sicily
The Lisbon Seafarers rode a solid performance from 27-year-old starting pitcher Aaron Williams to a win, beating the Sicily Mafia, 3-1, at Seafarers Stadium. The Mafia, at 11-18, have lost 4 in a row.

Yukio Kotani, who led the TOBA in stolen bases with 23 in 1952, took Sicily hurler Alexis Petito deep in the bottom of the third. His 3-run home run put the Seafarers on top, 3-0. In all, Kotani had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Lisbon skipper Dan Danielson. "I can't complain."
