Providence Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Providence Anglers had to overcome a fine effort from Sicily pitcher Enea Paluzzi to win, 4-3, at The Pond. Paluzzi went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. The Anglers sport a record of 11-18.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Providence third baseman Kei Kamiya, facing Ceasario DeSanctis, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Anglers the 4-3 win.

After the game, Providence manager Dan Danielson applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
