Lions Win, Downing Aurora, 10-7

The home crowd had a good time watching the Iceland Aurora and Paris Lions get after it.
Romain Larue added some punch to the Paris offense, helping them outmuscle the Iceland Aurora, 10-7. In the game, Larue went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Paris pitcher Justin Hoover got the win. He's now 1-6. John Hahn was tagged with the loss. William Kelly got the save, the 4th for him this season.
The Aurora had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Lions going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 13-year veteran Buddy Snoeren came to the plate. Snoeren hit a 2-run home run on a 1-1 sinker from Iceland hurler John Hahn. It was Snoeren's 3rd home run of the year.
Lions manager Dan Danielson wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
After today's action, Paris sits at 11-19; Iceland slips to 16-14.
