Seafarers Edge Mafia, 2-1
Starting pitcher Brian Robb gave the Lisbon Seafarers a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Sicily Mafia, 2-1, at Seafarers Stadium. Sicily has now lost 5 straight.

Kazu Nakanishi had a big solo home run for the Seafarers in the bottom of the second inning. With Lisbon leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from Enea Paluzzi, who is tied for 7th in the TOBA with a 1.21 WHIP, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Seafarers on top, 2-0.

Nakanishi called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
