Skyliners Pick Up 5-1 Win Against Paris
New York got an elite performance from starting pitcher Chris Ellis in securing a 5-1 decision over the Paris Lions. The winning pitcher was Ellis, now 2-4. He tossed 8.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 4. The Skyliners sport a record of 12-18.

New York used a well-timed hit by Kai Coles to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Skyliners ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll try to build on that win," Ellis told the New York Observer.
