Monsters Earn Win with Late Rally
The Mobile Monsters had to overcome a fine effort from Sicily pitcher Alexis Petito to win, 2-1, at Mobile Park. Petito went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. Sean White, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 3.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 3. Today's win puts Mobile at 14-17, while Sicily falls to 12-19.

Baltesar Tracy was the walk-off hero for Mobile. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Monsters designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Some games build character," said Mobile manager Dan Danielson. "Like this one."
