Kok Schools Paris in 3-1 Iceland Triumph
The Iceland Aurora earned a close win over the Paris Lions, thanks in part to Jessy Kok. The Iceland left-hander, who finished 2nd in the TOBA in strikeouts with 112 in 1955, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. The loss lowers the Paris record to 2-1.

It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Kok, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing just 4 hits. Kok, who finished 2nd in the TOBA in wins with 12 in 1954, goes to 1-0 on the year with 8 strikeouts.

"When I throw strikes I'm good, if I don't I'm not very good," said Kok. "So I just have to throw strikes."
