Ken Roberts, who finished 2nd in the TOBA in innings pitched with 180.1 last year, was locked in. The right-hander led the Iceland Aurora to a 7-3 win against the New York Skyliners at Aurora Field. The winning pitcher was Roberts, now 6-3. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. The Aurora now have a record of 14-20 with the win over New York.

Iceland center fielder Alain Viard contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a cutter to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 28th hit of the season and put the Aurora ahead, 4-0.

"Ken showed what he's made of," said Iceland manager Dan Danielson.
