Tony Sanchez was locked in. The left-hander led the Lunar Dark Knights to a 5-2 win against the Io Isotopes at Isotope Arena. Lunar reliever Chris Pittman got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Pablo Ramos was tagged with the loss. The win has Lunar at 11-17.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Ken Avery? The 25-year old catcher Avery stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Lunar up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

Avery told a Lunar News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
