Rogers Schools Berlin in 1-0 New York Triumph

The Berlin Bears and New York Skyliners provided some drama for the home crowd.
New York Skyliners starter Joe Rogers hurled his team past the Berlin Bears, 1-0. Bobby Stamper picked up his 6th save of the season.
Rogers delivered a quality start for New York. The 5-foot-8 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 7.2 innings of work.
"Joe set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said New York manager Dan Danielson.
The first-place Skyliners have won 6 consecutive games.
