The Sicily Mafia handed the Paris Lions a 6-3 defeat at Paris Municipal Park. Second Baseman Donato Marciano starred for Sicily. He went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. Sicily is 15-24 and Paris, with the loss, 17-22.

Sicily used a well-timed hit by Tiberio Bagio to capture the win. The second baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mafia ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Bagio called the win "a collective effort."
