The Paris Lions withstood a fine game by Los Angeles left fielder David Morrison at Stars Stadium, to upend the Stars, 7-4. Morrison went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs. The Lions now have a record of 18-22 with the win over Los Angeles.

Paris used the timely hitting of Josh Galey to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Lions on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Galey said.
