Kok Terrific in 3-1 Paris Triumph
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Paris Lions and the New York Skyliners, 12-year veteran Jessy Kok proved to be the difference. The Paris left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Lions win. New York drops to 0-4.
Kok, who dominated for Paris, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 6. New York batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Jessy gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Paris skipper Dan Danielson.
