The Io Isotopes topped the Mars Maniacs by a score of 9-2. Leading the way was designated hitter Dale Paskey. Paskey went 4 for 5 with 4 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Isotopes. With the win, the Isotopes sit at 19-14.

In the bottom of the first, 22-year old first baseman Carlos Jimenez hit a 2-run home run. The 8th home run of the season for the Io first baseman put the Isotopes on top, 2-0.
