In a low-scoring contest between the Lisbon Seafarers and the Mobile Monsters, Zee-loo Fan, who is tied for 4th in the TOBA with a 1.18 WHIP, proved to be the difference. The Lisbon left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Seafarers win. Mobile has now lost 5 straight.

Lisbon took a 3-2 lead on Kazu Nakanishi's 10th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Nakanishi hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Mobile pitcher Hiromi Yoneda visibly frustrated.

"Tough loss," said Mobile manager Dan Danielson. "But we'll learn from it."
