The Iceland Aurora beat the Los Angeles Stars, 7-5, at Aurora Field. The Aurora got a fine performance from right fielder Serge Migin, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. With the win, Iceland has a record of 21-21. Los Angeles falls to 22-20.

Iceland took a 6-5 lead on Greg Ivany's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Ivany hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Los Angeles pitcher Raul Ropotan visibly frustrated.

Iceland manager Dan Danielson was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
