Aurora Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Seafarers, 5-2
Iceland Aurora starter Eitan Löbel hurled his team past the Lisbon Seafarers, 5-2. In 9 innings, Löbel surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Lisbon, with the loss, is still a stout 3-1.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Kjeld Penders came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Lisbon pitcher William Kelly, he hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Iceland on top, 4-2.

"Eitan did a heck of a job," said Iceland manager Dan Danielson.
