Behind an impressive start by Robert Holbert, Iceland beat Sicily, 4-2. The win gives Iceland a season record of 23-21.
Greg Ivany hit a run-scoring double off Renaud Goffi in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Aurora in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Ivany had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
After the game, Iceland manager Dan Danielson applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
