6-4 Win Takes Maniacs to 18-18
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Mars Maniacs and Keiper Krakens.
No one was more impactful than Didier Bruyère in the 6-4 Mars win over Keiper. Bruyère, who leads the SBL1 in bases on balls with 34, was 3-4 with 3 singles. With the victory, the Maniacs upped their record to 18-18.
The Maniacs got a big at-bat from third baseman Nalany Hakumele. For the game, Hakumele was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Mars a 3-0 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Bruyère told the Mars Daily News.
