The Paris Lions topped the Iceland Aurora, 5-4, in Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association action at Paris Municipal Park. The standout performance belonged to Paris pitcher and Sipoo, Finland, native Iiro Mikkola. The win went to Edwin Sanchez in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Ewan Moore took the loss. Paris is now 20-26, while Iceland is 24-22.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Paris pinch hitter Ricky Yohey, facing Tim Siragusa, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Lions the 5-4 win.

"That game was intense," Mikkola said.
