Though the conditions were not ideal, the Tokyo 99ers and Io Isotopes came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Tokyo 99ers picked up a win at Ballpark of Tokyo, courtesy of Quincy Elliston. The right-hander helped his team stop the Io Isotopes, 3-1. Elliston, the winner, moves to 4-5. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 3 walks. Rob Zunica earned the save for Tokyo, his 8th.

Bereket Belghazi had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Tokyo. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Tokyo in front, 3-1.

"When Quincy is on, he can really move the ball around," said Tokyo manager .

Tokyo occupies third place in the Prograde Division at 19-20.
