The Lisbon Seafarers topped the Los Angeles Stars, 10-1, in Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association action at Stars Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lisbon second baseman Sander Punter. The winner was Doug Price in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Brandon Lanning took the loss. With the victory, the Seafarers upped their record to 28-21.

With Lisbon leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Punter hit a run-scoring single off Los Angeles hurler Brandon Lanning. It was the 58th hit of the season for Punter and put his team ahead, 3-0.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Punter said. "We did a good job of that today."
