Lanning Stars in 3-1 Los Angeles Win
|
Brandon Lanning was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Stars Stadium. In fact, the Los Angeles Stars right-hander was instrumental in his team's 3-1 victory over the Paris Lions. The first-place Stars have won 6 straight games.
Lanning was the winner. He's now 8-5, after putting the Paris offense in a vise grip. Over 9 innings, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while racking up 5 Ks.
"Right now, things are falling our way," said Los Angeles manager Dan Danielson.
