The timely hitting of Andy Alejandre helped the Providence Anglers down the Los Angeles Stars, 4-3. Alejandre hit 2 home runs for the Anglers. The Anglers, now 4-1, have hit the ground running this season.

The Anglers got a big at-bat from left fielder Quentin Baker. For the game, Baker was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Providence a 2-1 lead.
