The Keiper Krakens converted a terrific effort from starter Meynard Demape into a win over the Tokyo 99ers at Kraken Grounds. The Krakens won the game by a final score of 4-2. The winner was Demape. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Henry Fisher. The win lifted the Keiper record to 26-15.

Aaron Hamilton went 2-3 with a double and a walk for Keiper. The 33-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Shawn Hutto. It was his 26th walk of the season.

"Meynard just settled in and did what he does," said Keiper manager Richard Stryker.
