The Mobile Monsters got a stellar effort from pitcher Aaron Williams, helping Mobile score a win over the visiting New York Skyliners, 3-2. The first-place Monsters have won 9 in a row.

Arturo Acosta was the walk-off hero for Mobile. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Monsters pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Aaron did a heck of a job," said Mobile manager Dan Danielson.
