Paris beat New York on the strength of starting pitcher Stephen Anderson's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. Seth McPherron earned the save for Paris, his 1st of the year. The Lions, now 4-1, have hit the ground running this season.

Franklin Wouters helped out the Paris cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.

Wouters told a Paris News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
