Slumping Lions Lose 8th Straight
|
Another game, another loss for the struggling Paris Lions.
Due in large part to first baseman John Morgan, the Los Angeles Stars sunk the Paris Lions, 9-7. Morgan was 2 for 4 with a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Los Angeles reliever Theodor Brown got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Josh Harmon was tagged with the loss.
Los Angeles used the hitting of Jayden Lindsey to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Stars on top, 9-7. For the game, Lindsey had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
Afterward, Paris manager Dan Danielson said: "We've hit a rough patch."
Paris's current losing streak has reached 8 games.
