A 6-RBI performance from Eric Chambers, who finished 2nd in the TOBA in RBI with 51 last year, helped the Providence Anglers beat the Sicily Mafia, 9-5. The Anglers improved their record to 29-26 by beating Sicily.

Wei-hong Shao, who finished 4th in the TOBA in batting average with .317 last year, took Sicily hurler Ceasario DeSanctis deep in the bottom of the first. His 3-run home run put the Anglers on top, 3-0. In all, Shao had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 2.

"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Shao. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
