The Io Isotopes had to overcome a good performance from Lunar pitcher Steve Tiffee to claim a 2-1 win at Lumineers Grounds. Tiffee went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Pablo Ramos finished the game for Io and earned his 12th save. The Dark Knights, at 21-25, have lost 4 in a row.

Io needed the clutch hitting of Dale Paskey to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Isotopes on top, 2-1. For the game, Paskey had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
