Shadows Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Umbriel Shadows and Keiper Krakens.

The Keiper Krakens downed the Umbriel Shadows, 3-1, at Shadows Stadium. Stellar pitching by Conor Whitehead had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 7th in the SBL1 with a 7.2 K/9 rate, handcuffed his opponent all game. David Grullon earned the save, his 15th.

The Shadows had trouble solving Whitehead, who surrendered 1 run on 5 hits over 8 innings.

"Conor is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Keiper manager Richard Stryker.

Keiper goes to 33-16. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.
