Monsters Hand Lisbon 9-3 Loss
|
The Mobile Monsters topped the Lisbon Seafarers, 9-3, with left fielder Baltesar Tracy playing a big role. Tracy was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Monsters in the win. Sean White was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities. With this game in the books, Mobile is 26-35, Lisbon 34-27.
The Monsters benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the second. With Jamie McIntyre at bat and Mobile leading 1-0, the Lisbon miscue allowed Mobile to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
