A 6-RBI performance from Jesus Medina, who is tied for 6th in the with a .389 on-base percentage, helped the Paris Lions beat the Providence Anglers, 9-7. The last-place Lions have won 4 consecutive games.

With Paris leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Medina hit a 2-run single off Providence hurler Raul Valdes. It was the 64th hit of the season for Medina and put his team ahead, 6-3.

"We came out aggressive," said Lions manager Dan Danielson. "We came out swinging the bats."
