Robb Lifts Seafarers to Win
|
Fans watched the Lisbon Seafarers and the New York Skyliners fight to the finish.
Lisbon Seafarers right-hander Brian Robb pitched a good game against the New York Skyliners at Seafarers Stadium, leading his team to victory, 3-2. The East Division-leading Seafarers are 37-28.
Robb was effective against the Skyliners, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited New York to just 2 runs on 2 hits over 9 innings.
"I thought we competed really well," said Seafarers manager Dan Danielson. "I thought the energy was really good."
