The Lisbon Seafarers converted a terrific effort from starter Elliot Martin into a win over the New York Skyliners at Seafarers Stadium. The Seafarers won the game by a final score of 6-2. Roland Rolland, credited with the save, is now 5 for 8 in save opportunities. The Lisbon win streak is now 3 games.

Jose Arocho had a big 2-run home run for the Seafarers in the bottom of the first inning. With Lisbon leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a curveball from Chris Ellis, who is tied for 10th in the in strikeouts with 60, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Seafarers on top, 3-0.

"Solid performance from our side," said Seafarers manager Dan Danielson.
