Isotopes Win Again, Streak Now at 10
|
Another day, another victory for the red-hot Io Isotopes.
The Io Isotopes beat the Ceres Asteroids, 10-6, at Isotope Arena. The win was due in part to third baseman Adrian Lopez, who was 1 for 2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Io has won 10 straight, while Ceres has lost 3 in a row.
One of the clutch hits for Io came from one of their biggest talents. In the bottom of the seventh with no one out, Aldomiro Estaa hit a run-scoring single to put the Isotopes up, 6-5. For the game, the center fielder went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Lopez said after the game.
