Providence Anglers starter Mounir Soulier turned in an exceptional performance against the Mobile Monsters at The Pond, resulting in a Providence win, 2-1. The defeat makes Mobile 38-29.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Providence designated hitter David Morrison, facing Kyle Cunningham, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Anglers the 2-1 win.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Mobile manager Dan Danielson. "The effort was great."
