Markovic at His Best, Blanks Rijeka
Djodja Markovic was in a mood to talk following the Novi Sad Bears contest against the Rijeka Sailors, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Sailors, 4-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Markovic said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Rijeka on a 6-hitter, allowing 2 walks and racking up 2 strikeouts.
