Anglers Lose to Monsters, 7-4
|
Baltesar Tracy was a major factor in the 7-4 Mobile win over Providence. The Monsters left fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The winner was Scott Bradburn, who threw 104 pitches over 7.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits. Kyle Cunningham, credited with the save, is now 8 for 12 in save opportunities.
Tracy had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a full count slider from Juan Rodriguez, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Monsters a 7-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Tracy.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Tracy.
The Monsters lead the West Division by 3 games.
