Stars Deal Lisbon 4-2 Defeat
|
Los Angeles Stars starter Theodor Brown pitched a strong game against the Lisbon Seafarers at Seafarers Stadium, leading the Stars to victory, 4-2. Lisbon falls to 4-4.
Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by David Morrison to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Stars ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Brown.
