Anglers Earn Late 5-4 Win
The Providence Anglers topped the Iceland Aurora, 5-4, in Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association action at The Pond. The game was highlighted by the performance of Providence pitcher Seon-jong Kim. Providence pitcher Juan Rodriguez earned the win, hiking his record to 2-4. John Gladue suffered the loss. Providence is now 39-34, while Iceland is 37-36.

Jerry Maher was the walk-off hero for Providence. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Anglers right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Seon-jong is a gamer," said Providence manager Dan Danielson.
