The Los Angeles Stars overcame a pretty good performance by Paris first baseman Jesus Medina, beating the Lions, 6-4, at Stars Stadium. Medina was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Los Angeles is now 43-34, Paris 29-48.

Afalku Bingamu hit a run-scoring double off William Kelly in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Stars in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Bingamu had 2 singles, while going 3 for 3.
