The Paris Lions defeated the New York Skyliners, 6-3, at Skyliners Stadium. Paris shortstop Octavio Muro had a superb performance. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Will Brouwer in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jessy Kok took the loss. The loss drops the Skyliners to 5-3.

Muro had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 cutter from Jessy Kok, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Lions a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Muro.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Muro.
