Dark Knights Get Past New York, 6-5
|
New York designated hitter Yin-tou Ling had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Ling was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2, even as Lunar beat the Nebula, 6-5, in 10 innings. Dante Anaya, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. New York falls to 3-4.
Hong-chang Lee came through with a big-time hit for Lunar. The second baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Lee. "And not try to do too much."
