Iceland Win Evens Series at 1
Lisbon center fielder Yukio Kotani pounded Iceland Aurora pitchers at Seafarers Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Seafarers from falling, 6-3, in Game 2 of the Semi-Final. Kotani was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, though he couldn't prevent the Seafarers from slipping into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

With two out in the top of the second, Alain Viard put Iceland in front, 3-1, with a 2-run single. The Aurora went on to win the ballgame.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Viard. "And not try to do too much."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Seafarers Stadium in Lisbon.
