Supernovas Suffer Blowout Loss to Dark Knights
|
The Lunar Dark Knights downed the Sedna Supernovas, 11-1, the largest share of the credit belonging to right fielder Charlie Lovett. On the day, Lovett went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights go to 27-40 with the win.
With Lunar leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Lovett hit a cutter from Efrain Guevara for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Dark Knights ahead, 5-0.
"We put the pedal to the metal," said Lovett.
