The Iceland Aurora got a strong performance from pitcher Ken Roberts, who stymied the Mobile offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Aurora Field. The win puts Iceland at 5-4.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Monsters allowed the Aurora to score the winning run.

"That was high adrenalin and it was fun," Viard said.
