Led by Hong-quan Thian, the Sedna Supernovas downed the Lunar Dark Knights, 8-5. Thian went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Supernovas. The 4th-place Supernovas bumped their record to 32-37.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Sedna trailing 5-4, Thian jumped on a sinker from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Pittman and hit a grand slam home run to center. With one swing, the Supernovas had a walk-off win.
"He who laughs last laughs best," Thian said, postgame.
