Lunar Loss Spoils Terrific Game by Okoth
The Mars Maniacs spoiled a good performance by Lunar center fielder Masnsen Okoth, bumping off Lunar, 9-7, at Lumineers Grounds. Okoth went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Maniacs now have a mark of 30-42.

Didier Bruyère, who leads the SBL1 in bases on balls with 64, helped out the Mars cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the right fielder was 1-3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Bruyère.
