Skyliners Clip Stars, 4-3, in AS Contest
The New York Skyliners got a strong game from starter David Alvarado, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Skyliners took the 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Stars in Game 2 of the Atlantic Series in a 11th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Alvarado. Alvarado threw 9.0 innings of 6-hit ball in the win, which brought the Skyliners into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

New York got a knockout punch from Nick Ciraldo. The third baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said New York field general Dan Danielson.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Skyliners Stadium in New York.
